Route 8 - Pure nature - 7 days

Madrid - Consuegra - Ubeda - Cazorla National Park - Alpujarras - Malaga

Enjoy the nature that Spain has to offer! This tour is doable all year round and takes you to the beautiful natural parks of Cazorla near Jaen and the Alpujarras in the Sierra Nevada. Consuegra is a small town with beautiful views in the province of la Mancha at the foot of a mountain where Don Quixote's famous windmills are located.

Located in northern Andalusia, Ubeda has a wide range of churches and palaces and a nice center. Close to Ubeda begins the Cazorla nature pack, a rugged but well-traveled area. This protected area is a must for nature lovers. You will see deer, mouflon and all kinds of birds. There are well-marked short and long hiking trails throughout the park.

Near Granada and the Alhambra is the Alpujarras nature reserve with typical villages such as Bubion, Capileira, Pampaneira and the highest village in Europe, Trevelez, known for its dried mountain ham. Via Salobreña on the coast you will drive back along the Costa Tropical towards Malaga.
