A journey through beautiful medieval Spain, most of whose cities on this itinerary are on the Unesco World Heritage List. Impressive landscapes combined with captivating cities.

From Malaga you can drive in 2 hours to the Moorish city of Cordoba, whose main attraction is the 12 century old mosque, which can also be visited. The Jewish quarter with its winding streets and many tapas bars, quaint stores and restaurants is right behind it.

Tip: Near the mosque are the Arab baths where you can spend an afternoon relaxing. Included in the price are: steam baths, hot and cold baths and a massage.

Via Zafra and Caseres to Salamanca. The pleasant university city of Salamanca is the center of Renaissance architecture. Visit the old center with their 2 imposing cathedrals and one of Spain's largest squares the 18th-century Plaza Mayor. Just before Salamanca lies the most beautiful village in Spain La Alberca.

You can go from Salamanca to Santiago de Compostela or stay in central Spain and drive to the cities of Avila, Segovia and Cuenca. Toledo, the imperial city is an hour's drive from Madrid and is a natural fortress. It is basically an open-air museum and has a beautiful center with wondrous views.
