Enjoy green Spain! This route brings you to the national parks from Cazorla and the Alpujarras.
We start in Madrid where you can visit Toledo on the road going south.
Further down we make a stop in Consuegra in the La Mancha province, where we can visit 11 of the Don Quichotte windmills. Ubeda is a town in the Jaen province, in the north of Andalusia and a symbol of Renaissance. Visiting Ubeda is like a journey to the past.
The national park of Cazorla lies close to Ubeda. The area is mostly impressive, the roads are good and there are several campsites along the road. It is a paradise for nature lovers and full of hiking trails.
For hiking we can also recommend the Alpujarras area, close to Granada with typical villages like Bubion, Capileira, Pampaneira and the highest village of Europe, Trevelez, famous for it Iberico ham.
On the way back to Malaga we can visit the Costa Tropical village of Salobreña.
