(This trip can be also started from Madrid, in this case without visiting Cordoba)

A spectacular drive through middle age Spain, most of the cities you are going to visit are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You will see stunning landscapes combined with visits to ancient cities. From Malaga it takes two hours to arrive to Cordoba.

Do not forget to visit ‘La Mezquita’ the mosque in the city centre. The Jewish quarter is situated next to the mosque and is worth a visit. You will find lost of shops and small restaurants in this area, also a good place to try some delicious tapas. Very close to the mosque you can pay a visit to the Arab baths and have an afternoon of relax. The price includes several hot/warm baths, swimming pool and massage.

The road takes you from Zafra towards Salamanca. The student city of Salamanca is known as the centre of architecture during the renaissance period. The main square, the plaza Mayor is one of the biggest squares in Spain. In the surroundings do not miss La Alberca, the most beautiful village of Spain.

From Salamanca you can visit Santiago de Compostela or stay in the central part of Spain and visit Ávila, Segovia and Cuenca. Toledo, the imperial city, close to Madrid is like an open-air museum and has a very beautiful centre with great views (at 85 km from Madrid).
