A few months ago we, Martien & Clemy and Gerard & Jenneke, had the idea of fleeing the cold and gray weather. Because we did not want to go too far and wanted to combine nature with the city, we ended up with Andalusia.
Through the Internet we ended up at the website of Spanjecamper. The contact with Frank from Spanjecamper has been very enjoyable right from the start. Personal and familiar. The price was also more favorable than through a travel agency in our neighborhood.
We booked the trip to Malaga ourselves at Ryanair. We left from Eindhoven on a very cold Thursday morning.
Arriving at the airport of Malaga Frank and Jessica arrived after half an hour with our two motorhomes. Both campers looked spick and span. Frank gave us a clear explanation about the working of the motorhome, but because we already had some experience from a previous RV trip through South Africa, this was soon enough clear. Frank and Jessica have escorted us to a large supermarket near the airport of Malaga. After we started our two week trip.
We did not book any campsites in advance. This turned out to be absolutely unnecessary, there was plenty of space everywhere.
We also camped wildly several times, an opportunity to really experience traveling with a motorhome. Heating on, nice shower with hot water, large fridge and good possibility to cook yourself.
We drove back to Malaga from Malaga, Ronda, Tarifa (with a crossing on foot making a Tangier – day trip), Seville, Cordoba, Cazorla, Cabo de Gata, Granada and Nerja. In total about 1900 km.
Highlights of our trip were the bike ride “through the via verde de la Sierra”, the Plaza de Espana in Seville, the Mezquita in Cordoba, the Alhambra in Granada and the walking tour through Los Cahorros de Monachil.
We could return the motorhomes at Malaga airport, this was ideal.
The weather varied during this trip from a winter jacket to shorts. We enjoyed the trip, everything went very well.
Thanks in part to the perfect service from Spanjecamper, for which thank you very much!
Many greetings and who knows see you again!
Jenneke, also on behalf of Gerard, Martien & Clemy
