In March we had the opportunity to spend almost 3 weeks to explore Andalusia with a motorhome.
Our choice fell on the T334. It is not too big for the small streets and still offers enough space for a family of 4.
Before I start with the details of our trip, I would like to thank Mr Ooms for the two handovers of the motorhome. It can be quite stressful and exhausting to manage the transfer with two small children and the accompanying luggage. That the the rental vehicle is brought to the airport to the customer, may still be within the expectations, the one that after the return being brought with the whole family to the hotel, is something very special. Thanks again.
Our 19-day tour took us from Malaga via Ronda to Tarifa, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cordoba to Granada, Nerja and back to Malaga. To make the holiday both relaxed and interesting and sporty, we have spent a few days at the coast relaxing after a few days in the nature or near a city to spend.
Although the temperatures of the Mediterranean did not really invite you for a swim, we enjoyed the calmth and the sound of the waves on the sandy coast near Tarifa and the more rocky one on the Costa del Sol.
In this season we have found everywhere a great parking space near the beach and for the kids was the game with the waves probably the most important part of our holiday. The older generation went for a change to the mountains, where we had made beautiful walks.
In a great memory, the excursions will remain in the Sierra de Almijara and in the Sierra de Los Nieves. We enjoyed the seclusion, the clear night starry sky, the lonely pitches in the middle of the wilderness and the smell of rosemary on our walks.
Of course, we did not travel to Andalusia just because of nature. Again and again we took one or two days to make a shortcut into the impressive history of Spain. We have found the well-known places such as Malaga, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda or Tarifa.
We had a lot of luck in Cordoba, where we were able to experience the Easter processions in the old town up close.
These were great days and this holiday is sure to last a long time remain positive in the memory.
Greetings from Dresden / Allemania sends you the Noack family.
