During the holiday fair in January we walked past the stand of Spanjecamper and spoke an enthusiastic Frank Ooms who interested us for a motorhome tour through Spain.
We already had the necessary experience with RV trips in the United States and Canada and have not yet planned a holiday. Because of the stories on the website and our love for Spain and Portugal, we decided to rent a motorhome with Spanjecamper for three weeks, because a good offer was made and we could pick up the camper in Madrid and hand it over in Malaga.
In the period from 29 May to 17 June we enjoyed almost three weeks Spain and Portugal, nice little towns like Chaves, Praia de Rocha, Armação de Pera and of course Madrid, Porto, Lisbon.
After returning to Spain, the planning was to visit Seville, but the temperature had since risen to 43 degrees, which we found no ideal conditions for a city visit. We headed towards Cádiz and enjoyed a few days at a beach campsite.
All in all, we look back with pleasure on this holiday and will definitely come back to visit Seville, Cordoba and more unknown places in Andalusia. No criticism, is not that possible with Dutch people? A few points though: the extradition in Madrid took place by another company where our arrival time (during the siesta) resulted in a delay of more than two hours. Although we only went as a couple with this camper, the pots and pans were of a size that we could also take our children and grandchildren with us.
Finally, nothing but praise for Spanjecamper for the support in the run-up and handling of a small damage after a very successful holiday. Frank, thank you very much and maybe we will see each other again at the trade show in the Netherlands and otherwise we will find you if we want to travel around with a motorhome in Spain again!
